The Problem

Plenty of People Will Sell Your Firm AI. Who Will Teach Your Lawyers to Use It Well?

The skill gap is widening.

The lawyers who taught themselves are getting real results. Their colleagues have the same access and haven’t yet tapped into the potential, and it’s hard to know where to start.

The teams with the most to gain are often the most behind.

Finance, marketing, and administration do the most repeatable work in the firm and often have some of the lowest AI usage rates. There is a huge opportunity to help those teams do higher leverage work for the firm.

Product training does not develop skills.

Legal tech companies teach a product and solve for adoption. They do not teach a lawyer how to apply their expertise and judgment as they leverage AI for their own matters.

What Needs to Change

The Software Rollout Playbook Does Not Work for AI.

The firms that pull ahead will be the ones that solve not just for tool access but skill development that unlocks the potential of their team.

What We Offer

Our Programs Build Your Team’s AI Skill.

Travis Wussow

Meet Your Coach

Taught by a Lawyer Who Rebuilt His Own Practice First.

Travis Wussow is a practicing energy and regulatory lawyer who spent several years tearing down his own legal practice and rebuilding it to highly leverage AI tools and workflows. He is a lecturer at the University of Texas School of Law, where he leads the Texas Law AI Skills Program. He teaches AI the way he learned it: on real legal work, inside a working practice.

Firm-Wide Training

AI Competency Program.

Close the skill gap.

Bring the entire firm to where your strongest AI users already are.

Fits inside a billable week.

Four live sessions, each one recorded. The work in between can be done in five- to fifteen-minute bites.

Everyone leaves with something they built.

Each participant finishes with a working assistant built on their own recurring work, and a list of what to build next.

Tailored to your team.

We shape the lessons and the worked examples with you and your leaders before the cohort starts.

Inside the Program

What the Program Covers.

  1. Week 1

Working with AI on real work

    • Giving the model enough context to do quality work.
    • The core techniques to improve context: step by step reasoning, having the AI interview you before it answers, and asking it to critique and rewrite its own draft.
  2. Week 2

Building an assistant for work you repeat

    • Building an assistant for things you do every week.
    • Writing the instruction set that makes the assistant and the workflow repeatable instead of one-off.
  3. Week 3

The wider toolkit and where it connects

    • Deep research: running a multi-source project and getting citations you can verify.
    • Source-grounded work: pointing an AI at a defined set of documents — a matter file, a set of precedents, a record — so the answers come from that record.
  4. Week 4

    Showcase and what comes next

    • Participants demo what they built so that the group can learn from other teams.
